As Nate Frazier rumbled into the endzone with just a few minutes left in the game last night, the crowd in Sanford Stadium could finally breath a sigh of relief.

The game started out with Tennessee jumping out to a quick 10-0 lead and Georgia just missing some big plays.

The first two quarters of the game were a back and forth affair, both teams having missed opportunities and the score tied at 17 going into half.

Georgia has been a good second half team all year, and they showed it again last night by outscoring the Volunteers 14-0 coming out of the break.

This game had huge playoff implications, and was a must win for Georgia after falling flat to Ole Miss last week and picking up their second loss.

Georgia had struggled offensively of late and the blame was largely placed on starting QB Carson Beck and his bevy of turnovers.

Last night Beck seemed a new man. He had three touchdowns, 300 yards, and most importantly zero turnovers.

One of his touchdowns was on the ground. This is an element of his game we hadn’t really seen before and may be a much needed new wrinkle to the offense.

The offensive line also played much better than it has of late, not allowing even one sack. This gave Beck time to find his targets throughout the game.

One of those targets was Oscar Delp, a key contributor in the game, making several big catches including two touchdowns.

All season this Georgia team has been inconsistent and seemed a far cry from those championship winning teams of the last few years.

Last night Georgia seemed to turn back the clock, and if they can keep playing like this watch out for those Dawgs.
